The Manager of eDiscovery Operations at DoorDash will lead the development and management of the company's legal data infrastructure, ensuring efficient and defensible data handling for litigation and legal responses. In this role, the Manager will design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines that embed defensibility by design, ensuring the eDiscovery lifecycle scales seamlessly with DoorDash’s increasing data complexity. They will lead a diverse ecosystem of contractors and vendors to execute daily operations across legal holds, preservation, and production on complex matters. Serving as the primary eDiscovery consultant to Litigation, Privacy, Employment, IT, and Security teams, they will translate technology and requirements into executable processes. Additionally, the Manager will provide expert guidance on data minimization and early case assessment strategies to reduce review volume, mitigate risk, and control costs.

Candidates should have 6–8+ years of experience in eDiscovery, with at least 2 years in a systems-building or program management capacity. Hands-on experience with modern review platforms such as DISCO, Everlaw, and RelativityOne, including oversight of vendor-managed environments, is essential. Proficiency in foundational AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini to improve productivity, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to apply TAR, CAL, and LLM-based workflows to solve complex, high-volume data challenges are required. Comfort with enterprise tools like Jira and Confluence to manage technical roadmaps and productize legal workflows is necessary. Candidates should also have deep knowledge of cloud storage (AWS), secure data transfer, and chain-of-custody protocols within enterprise environments.
