Arista Networks is seeking a Major Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization in Western Germany. This role focuses on driving the transformation to Software Defined Cloud Networking by providing automated solutions to a select group of Fortune 500 enterprise accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and partners to deliver innovative networking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

The Major Account Manager will be responsible for consultative selling and developing solutions that address the specific requirements of large enterprise customers. Key responsibilities include identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities across Arista's product portfolio, which encompasses Data Center and Campus Networking platforms, Cloud-based Wi-Fi, PoE switches, Routing Platforms, CloudVision (network automation and telemetry), and security solutions such as DMF Fabric Monitoring, NDR, Endpoint, and AI-driven Network Identity Management. Additionally, the role involves establishing productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, creating and executing targeted account plans in collaboration with partner managers and sales engineers, and managing business priorities across the named account territory.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience, focusing on developing major Fortune 500 customers in the German market. Fluency in both German and English is essential. A strong background in selling networking equipment, including routers, switches, SDN, SD-WAN, campus networks, network virtualization, and network automation solutions, is required. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is necessary, with an MBA being desirable. The candidate must currently reside in Germany, as this is a home-based field role without relocation support. Demonstrated leadership skills, the ability to navigate end-user requirements through contracting and resale processes, and a proven track record of building business plans and exceeding sales targets are also essential.
