Maintenance Technician
Eurofins is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join our team in Nijmegen. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration activities, and troubleshooting within a regulated manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
Key responsibilities include executing preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration in line with site schedules and procedures. The technician will support the development and updating of calibration plans, Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), and preventive maintenance strategies. Additionally, the role involves providing hands-on technical support to production, applying structured root cause analysis to resolve equipment and process issues, and managing maintenance- and calibration-related non-conformances.
The ideal candidate will possess an MBO 4 or higher in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and calibration. Experience in a manufacturing environment or the medical device industry is preferred. Fluency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO standards is advantageous, as is advanced technical training in relevant areas.
