Maintenance Manager - Stamping
The Maintenance Manager - Stamping at Lucid Motors is responsible for leading the maintenance department within the stamping facility located in Casa Grande, Arizona. This role involves overseeing a team of up to 50 employees and collaborating closely with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to implement new processes and manage change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing the maintenance department, championing safety, quality, and productivity through standardized work and compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, overseeing preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime, coordinating labor, materials, and maintenance activities to support production and startup readiness, leading root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for equipment and process issues, managing major and minor press and die maintenance activities, including tandem press lines, partnering cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to support operations and change management, and developing team capability through training, clear communication, documentation, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business (preferred), 8+ years of experience in areas such as Stamping, Heavy Machinery, or Body in White, with an emphasis on tandem press line experience, 8+ years of related automotive industry experience, experience managing automation (control) engineers (preferred), 5+ years of direct leadership experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organizations at all levels, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
