Maintenance Facility Technician 4th Class Power - Eurofins CDMO Alphora, Inc.
Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Facility Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our Mississauga facility. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the development and manufacturing of new therapeutics, supporting global pharmaceutical and biotech companies in producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage products for clinical trials and commercial use.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of facility utility systems, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, building automation systems, compressed air systems, and pure steam generators. Your duties will encompass mechanical and electrical installations, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance procedures in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies. Additionally, you will coordinate routine maintenance with operations to minimize production disruptions and respond to off-hours emergencies as required.
The ideal candidate will possess a 4th Class Power (Operating) Engineer Certification from the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and a 2-year college diploma in engineering or a related technical field. While entry-level candidates are welcome, strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work effectively in a regulated environment is also crucial.
The starting annual base compensation for this position is $65,000 CAD.
