Maintenance Engineer
As a Maintenance Engineer at BESIX Unitec, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the electromechanical components of the Krammersluizen in Zeeland. In this role, your key responsibilities include implementing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for electromechanical systems, analyzing maintenance data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating closely with the maintenance coordinator and technical team to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities. Additionally, you will coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and identify opportunities for innovation and technological enhancements within maintenance processes.
The ideal candidate will have a completed technical education in electromechanics, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance role within an industrial or infrastructural environment. Strong analytical skills, experience with maintenance software and systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential. A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement are also highly valued.
