Logistics Maintenance Technician
The Logistics Maintenance Technician at Lucid Motors plays a crucial role within the Kaizen lab team, focusing on the maintenance and operation of logistics engineering systems. This position is integral to ensuring the efficiency and reliability of process equipment and material handling systems across various production areas, including paint, body-in-white, and assembly. Key responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and repairing logistics systems such as gravity flow racks, sequencing racks, pneumatic lifts, and other related equipment. The technician will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, including welding repairs on dollies and racks, while adhering to environmental health and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves coordinating the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new facilities and equipment, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing in-house projects to support production launches and ongoing operations.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of three years of experience in process equipment maintenance and facilities management, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. The role requires flexibility to work first or second shifts and involves physical activities such as standing, stooping, walking, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Desired skills include experience with equipment installations, troubleshooting, commissioning, basic electrical and electronics knowledge, proficiency in office PC programs and equipment monitoring systems, and familiarity with various power distribution systems and industrial busways.
