Litigation & Practice Technology Principal of Review & AI Services
Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a seasoned eDiscovery leader to join their Innovation Program as the Principal of Review & AI Services within the Legal Practice Technology team. This senior role focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into legal document review processes, enhancing the firm's litigation capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate with case teams and lead cross-functional initiatives to advance AI-enabled workflows.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing AI-driven review, validation, and production workflows in partnership with legal process engineers. The role involves connecting discovery tasks with related workstreams such as early fact investigation and deposition preparation. Additionally, the Principal will engage directly with case teams, providing expert advice and ensuring the integration of best practices across review workflows to maintain consistency and defensibility.
The ideal candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate and have over 15 years of experience in consultative eDiscovery services, managing complex reviews, investigations, and productions. Proficiency in designing and validating GenAI-assisted document review workflows, including expertise with LLM-based review tools and statistical validation techniques, is essential. A comprehensive understanding of the litigation lifecycle and the ability to identify opportunities for technology integration are also required.
Kirkland & Ellis offers a competitive compensation package, with base salaries ranging from $203,000 to $291,000, depending on location.
