Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Pensacola, Florida. This role involves working closely with a lead attorney and legal assistant to provide comprehensive support throughout the litigation process.

As a Litigation Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing all court documents in state and federal courts and maintaining effective communication with clients, courts, counsel, and other parties. Conducting legal research and factual investigations, preparing discovery documents, and coordinating depositions are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will assist in preparing trial binders and exhibits, draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and help with witness preparation and case settlements.

To qualify for this position, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney in a law firm setting. A Worker’s Compensation background is required. An Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience is preferred, along with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in written and verbal communication are essential. The role is on-site, providing the opportunity to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team.
