Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a qualified Litigation Assistant to join their Boston, Massachusetts office. As a Litigation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team by managing daily operations and performing administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, and managing logistics. You will also be tasked with collecting, examining, and organizing evidence and legal documents for attorney review, drafting and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, and conducting research to assist with case preparation. Additionally, you will handle client billing, communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings and depositions, and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems. General administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney’s calendar and making travel arrangements, will also be part of your duties.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate. A minimum of two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a law firm setting or corporate legal department, is required. Experience in Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises, First Party, or other injury-related practice areas is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

This is an on-site position offering an hourly wage between $24.52 and $28.85 USD. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
