The Legal Support Secretary position at Clifford Chance's Abu Dhabi office is designed to provide a first-class, professional support service to Partners and Lawyers. This role is essential in ensuring seamless operations and maintaining the highest standards of client service. As a Legal Support Secretary, you will be a trusted partner to the legal team, contributing to the efficiency and success of the practice.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing complex schedules, acting as the primary point of contact for fee earners, and ensuring seamless communication and organization for both internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves arranging comprehensive travel plans, including flights, visas, and ground transportation, in close collaboration with local agents to guarantee smooth and efficient travel arrangements. Additionally, the Legal Support Secretary is responsible for accurately handling time entry submissions and amendments, processing expense claims promptly, organizing and overseeing meetings and video conferences, preparing and drafting professional correspondence, managing printing and scanning tasks, and maintaining accurate client contact information.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute with high accuracy, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and prior experience in professional services, ideally within a law firm. An A-level or equivalent education is required, with additional certification in legal studies or office administration being desirable. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong self-management and organizational abilities, sound judgment and decision-making skills, and a collaborative and resilient approach under pressure are also essential.
