Legal Specialist - Real Estate Condemnations

Public Storage is seeking a Legal Specialist to join our Real Estate Condemnations team. This role involves managing legal aspects of property acquisitions and condemnations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Legal Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external legal counsel to facilitate property transactions and resolve legal issues.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing legal documents related to property acquisitions, coordinating with external legal counsel to manage condemnation proceedings, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The Legal Specialist will also assist in negotiating settlements and preparing necessary documentation for property transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. A minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on property acquisitions and condemnations, is preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
