Legal & Risk Management Co-Op - Fall 2026

VEGA Americas is offering a Fall 2026 Co-Op opportunity in their Legal & Risk Management department. This program is designed to provide undergraduate students with practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic legal and risk management environment. As a Co-Op, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to various projects and gaining valuable insights into the field.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include providing administrative and organizational support to the Legal and Risk Management functions. You will assist in drafting, developing, and maintaining internal policy and process documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant. Under the supervision of the In-House Attorney, you will support contract administration, review, and compliance documentation. Additionally, you will help with vendor compliance program benchmarking, tracking, and reporting, aiming to improve the EcoVadis score for 2026/2027. Collaboration with the Safety Manager on Certificate Management and related vendor documentation will also be part of your role.

To be considered for this position, you should be an undergraduate student in good standing, enrolled in a two or four-year degree program, with sophomore standing or above. A strong interest in legal and risk management is essential, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial, as is attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
