Legal Process Server - Texas
ABC Legal Services is seeking a dedicated Legal Process Server to join our team in Texas. As a leading provider of service of process solutions, we specialize in delivering legal documents efficiently and in compliance with all applicable laws. In this role, you will be responsible for serving legal documents to individuals involved in legal proceedings. Your duties will include locating individuals, delivering documents, and obtaining proof of service. You will utilize our proprietary mobile app to record service attempts, capture photographic evidence, and provide GPS data to ensure accurate and timely service. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to set your own schedule and choose the areas you wish to serve within Texas.
Ideal candidates will possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a smartphone. While prior experience in process serving is beneficial, it is not mandatory. ABC Legal provides comprehensive training, including a certification course approved by the Judicial Branch Certification Commission (JBCC) in Texas. This training ensures you are well-versed in the legal requirements and best practices for serving documents in the state.
Compensation is performance-based, with payment issued upon completion of each service request. Reimbursement is provided for expenses such as printing service documents. As an independent contractor, you will have the autonomy to manage your workload and work locations, offering a high degree of flexibility.
