Your Role
As our Legal Operations Specialist, you will build and run the operational backbone of Focused Energy’s growing Legal function. You will own the systems, processes, records, and calendars that enable our lawyers to focus on high-value legal work across Corporate, Commercial, IP, and Compliance.
You will have broad ownership and the opportunity to build legal operations from the ground up — from corporate entity administration and contract lifecycle management to IP docketing, compliance records, workflow design, and automation. You will work independently across German and US corporate structures and become a trusted operational partner to the VP Legal and the wider Legal team.
What you’ll do
- Build and own the legal operations backbone for a growing international company — creating reliable systems, processes, and standards that make a visible difference every day.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for corporate administration across our German and US entities, including registers, minute books, cap tables, powers of attorney, filings, restructurings, and notarial processes.
- Lead the contract lifecycle from signature to renewal, managing CLM and e-signature workflows, keeping agreements accessible, and ensuring no important deadline is missed.
- Create structure across IP and Compliance, maintaining patent and trademark docketing, IP registers, compliance records, policy documentation, and key legal calendars.
