Legal Operations Manager, Commercial
Zscaler is seeking a Legal Operations Manager, Commercial, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its commercial legal functions. This remote role reports to the Director of Legal Operations and involves close collaboration with the Legal, IT, and Go-To-Market teams to streamline cross-functional workflows. Zscaler is a leading provider of cloud-based cybersecurity solutions, specializing in Zero Trust architecture, and is committed to accelerating digital transformation for its clients.
The Legal Operations Manager will be responsible for managing Zscaler's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, including workflow design, template management, repository maintenance, reporting, and system integrations. Key duties include developing and refining workflows that support the entire contract lifecycle—from intake through execution, repository management, and renewal. The role also involves designing scalable self-service processes and maintaining contracting infrastructure such as playbooks, templates, clause libraries, and approval flows. Additionally, the manager will implement and iterate on AI-powered solutions for contract review, clause extraction, risk flagging, and knowledge management. Support for operational processes and systems related to Privacy, Product Legal, and Compliance, including data mapping, cookie tracking, and request management, is also expected.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in legal operations, contract management, commercial operations, or a related role within a technology company. Hands-on experience with CLM systems, including system administration, workflow design, template management, and reporting, is essential. Proven experience in building and improving legal or compliance processes such as intake, approvals, playbooks, and templates is required. Familiarity with AI tools in contracting or business workflows, or a demonstrated readiness to lead AI-enabled process improvements, is highly desirable. Strong cross-functional communication skills are necessary to effectively partner with Legal, Sales, and IT teams.
