Legal Operations Lead
Wild Alaskan Company is seeking a Legal Operations Lead to manage contract workflows and support commercial contracting in a rapidly growing, mission-driven seafood company. This part-time, fully remote role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and the fractional General Counsel to build durable legal processes. Reporting to the SVP of Finance and Business Operations, the position offers potential for full-time expansion as the company scales.
Key responsibilities include conducting initial reviews and redlining of various agreements such as NDAs, SaaS agreements, and marketing contracts. The role also involves managing contract intake, tracking, and routing processes, implementing a Contract Lifecycle Management system, and maintaining a contract repository with proper version control. Additionally, the Legal Operations Lead will develop standard templates, refine negotiation guidance, and support the development of scalable legal infrastructure.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field, or hold a paralegal certificate. A minimum of 2 years' experience in contract management, legal operations, or a paralegal role is required, along with experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts. Familiarity with SaaS agreements, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential. Proficiency in integrating AI tools into workflows is also desired.
The position offers an hourly rate between $50 and $75, commensurate with skills and experience.
