Podium is seeking a Legal Operations Associate to enhance the efficiency of its Legal team. This role offers significant responsibility from the outset, focusing on improving workflows, scaling systems, and leveraging technology, particularly AI, to drive operational excellence. The position is based in Lehi, Utah.

In this role, the Legal Operations Associate will be responsible for shaping the integration of technology and AI within the Legal department. Key duties include evaluating, implementing, and managing AI tools for contract review, drafting, research, and workflow support. The associate will also develop playbooks and processes to handle repeatable tasks efficiently, track the performance and ROI of legal tech investments, and oversee the Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) program. Additional responsibilities involve streamlining contracting processes, supporting integrations with business systems like Salesforce and Jira, and maintaining the Legal department's reporting and metrics.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or related operational roles, either in law firms or in-house. Hands-on experience with legal technology, especially CLM tools (Ironclad preferred), JIRA, and AI tools (such as GCAI and Harvey), is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to build or improve processes, possess strong analytical skills, and be comfortable working with systems, dashboards, and metrics. Clear written and verbal communication skills and a bachelor's degree are required.

While not mandatory, experience implementing AI tools in a legal or operational setting, familiarity with SaaS or high-growth tech environments, and knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Zip, and SimpleLegal are advantageous. A paralegal certification or background in legal studies is also beneficial.
