Roland Berger, a leading global management consultancy of European origin, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Global Legal Department. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur within the Finance & Controlling (F&C)/Legal service hub, offering the opportunity to work closely with a professional and welcoming team. The position involves advising the Roland Berger Group, which includes Roland Berger Holding GmbH & Co. KGaA and its worldwide entities, on a broad range of corporate legal and general commercial law topics.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and revising various agreements in accordance with global corporate standards and applicable laws. These agreements encompass non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, release/non-reliance and reliance letters, engagement letters, and supplier agreements. Additionally, the role involves assisting in general corporate housekeeping matters and liaising with the Global Legal Team to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.

The ideal candidate holds a law degree from a recognized university and possesses a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in an international law firm or the in-house legal department of an international company. Strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, high analytical capabilities, and a solid understanding of business operations are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and an excellent command of written and spoken English are required, while knowledge of other languages spoken in the company's global business regions, such as Chinese, German, or French, is advantageous. Upholding the highest professional standards, particularly concerning confidentiality, is imperative.
