Legal Counsel (in house)

As a Legal Counsel at Together, you will be an integral part of our Group Legal team, focusing on managing a high-volume portfolio of customer legal claims, primarily originating from claims management companies. This role is based at our Cheadle office in South Manchester (SK8 3GW), requiring a full-time, on-site commitment from Monday to Friday.

Your key responsibilities will include proactively managing a substantial caseload, ensuring efficient and proportionate handling of each case. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Litigation and Senior Legal Counsel to shape and implement the Group’s strategic approach to volume claims handling, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of processes and litigation strategies. Additionally, you will monitor, interpret, and present management information, data trends, and insights to inform decision-making and support senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in volume litigation, particularly with claims originating from or driven by claims management companies. You should possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with management information, data, and trend analysis. Excellent drafting and communication skills are essential, enabling you to distill complex issues into straightforward, practical advice. Experience in supervising or supporting junior colleagues, including providing clear expectations and promoting strong time-management practices, is also highly regarded.
