You will help enable growth while protecting interests in a fast-paced, international and regulated environment. Your advice is practical, proportionate and focused on helping the business make well-informed decisions.In this role, you will take ownership of a broad range of commercial and technology matters. You will advise on the legal framework for our SaaS, CPaaS, payments and AI products, working with customers and suppliers across the world. Alongside commercial contracting, you will contribute to privacy & data protection, regulatory and corporate legal topics, developing expertise in an area that fits your experience and interests.From digital conversations to customer data and payments, products operate at the intersection of technology, regulation and commerce. Together with colleagues across Legal and the business, you will manage legal risk without losing sight of commercial opportunity.You willLead the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, technology, data-processing and partnership agreements, structuring practical solutions that enable deals and protect clear, pragmatic legal advice to Sales, Procurement, Product and other stakeholders on commercial, regulatory and data-protection mattersAdvise on privacy and data protection issues, including GDPR, in relation to our products, customer contracts and day-to-day operationsDevelop and improve contract standards, playbooks and scalable legal processes that support an efficient global commercial organisationSupport tenders, strategic negotiations and cross-functional projects, working closely with management, our international offices and specialist advisers where neededMonitor legal and regulatory develop...
