Legal Counsel
BrainRocket is a dynamic global company specializing in developing end-to-end tech products for clients in the Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing sectors. With a rapidly expanding presence across Europe, including Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Poland, and Serbia, BrainRocket is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its team in Valencia, Spain. As a Legal Counsel at BrainRocket, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing a diverse array of legal agreements, encompassing commercial contracts such as Marketing Agreements, Insertion Orders, Terms & Conditions, and License Agreements, as well as corporate agreements like Share Purchase Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Service Agreements. You will also handle contracts related to technology platforms, payment solutions, payment service providers, banking partners, affiliates, and B2B integrations. Your role will involve conducting advanced contract negotiations, performing legal research, liaising with external counsel, and providing in-house legal support across various operational areas to ensure compliance with industry regulations and alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a law degree, preferably from a common law jurisdiction, and have a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in a commercial environment. A strong familiarity with data protection and privacy laws is essential, along with proven experience in the iGaming industry. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage a broad in-house legal portfolio, including commercial, regulatory, marketing, and finance-related matters, and exhibit strong commercial awareness to provide practical, business-focused legal solutions. Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple matters simultaneously are crucial, as is the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, finance, compliance, risk, and marketing.
