Legal Counsel (Blockchain Payment)

Join a dynamic US-based fintech startup specializing in cross-border blockchain payments as a Legal Counsel. You will play a crucial role in drafting contracts and monitoring regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with SEC and MiCA regulations.

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts related to cross-border blockchain payments, monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes, providing legal advice on fintech and crypto law matters, collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance, and conducting legal research to stay informed on industry trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, has over four years of experience in fintech or crypto law, possesses a strong understanding of SEC and MiCA regulations, demonstrates excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills, and can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
