Lead Solutions Architect
The Lead Solutions Architect at Cohere Health serves as a subject matter expert on the company's solutions, maintaining deep knowledge of platform capabilities, products, features, and best practices. This role involves designing and overseeing the implementation of complex technical solutions that align with client business objectives, with a particular focus on the Medicaid market. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring scalable and efficient solution designs that accommodate state-specific variations, regulations, and market landscapes.
Key responsibilities include designing client solutions and guiding clients to effectively utilize Cohere’s products to meet their needs. The Lead Solutions Architect will lead internal discussions to support new functionality, identify the responsible product manager, and ensure they understand the requirements and have a plan to address any gaps. Additionally, this role involves partnering with project managers to ensure all required work is planned and resourced, maintaining internal documentation on solution scope and milestones, translating customer expectations into clear, well-documented requirements, and collaborating with Forward Deployed Engineers to develop high-level technical designs for novel customer problems.
The position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience as a solutions architect, business analyst, or product manager in a software or product organization serving health plans. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with health plan customers in Medicaid markets, including utilization management experience and an understanding of compliance requirements. Success in designing and implementing technology solutions with a focus on prior authorization workflows and healthcare interoperability is essential. Strong communication skills, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and a solid technical aptitude in software architecture, APIs, and integration patterns are also required.
Cohere Health offers a fully remote opportunity with approximately 5% travel.
