Lead Product Designer (Crypto Exchange)
Hyphen Connect is seeking a Lead Product Designer to drive design initiatives for a decentralized exchange that combines the best features of centralized and decentralized platforms. The company focuses on creating a safe, simple, and scalable trading environment, offering institutional-level systems and support while maintaining an on-chain and decentralized structure.
In this role, you will lead and manage design projects from conception to production, crafting pixel-perfect designs optimized for iOS, Android, web, and mobile web platforms. You will develop and maintain reusable design templates aligned with the company's Design Language System (DLS), create detailed specifications to guide product implementation, and collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and research teams to ensure design consistency. Additionally, you will design new components and icons, contribute to the evolution of the DLS, and conduct user research to better understand user needs and behaviors.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years in product design, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing complex, cross-platform projects. A strong focus on detail and a passion for achieving pixel-perfect design are essential. Significant experience managing and working within design systems, tokens, and variable structures is required, along with proficiency in Figma’s components, shared libraries, and branching functionalities. Proven experience in managing stakeholders and effectively collaborating with product, engineering, and QA teams is also necessary.
