Lead Data Scientist - Big Data and Modelling

Indodana Fintech, an OJK-licensed financial technology company, is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead the development of machine learning models for risk scoring, fraud detection, and behavioral analytics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team comprising professionals from renowned tech companies and universities, all dedicated to achieving financial inclusion for Indonesia's underbanked population.

In this role, the Lead Data Scientist will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, drive feature engineering, and oversee model training and monitoring pipelines using large-scale datasets. Collaboration with the Data Engineering team to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure is essential. Additionally, the position involves managing and mentoring a team of data scientists and engineers to ensure high standards in model accuracy and governance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with over three years of experience in data science, machine learning, or risk modeling, preferably within fintech or banking sectors. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data tools such as Spark, Airflow, Hadoop, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Databricks is required. Experience in leading end-to-end model development in production environments and a solid understanding of credit risk, fraud analytics, or financial modeling are also essential.
