Lead City Coordinator - Nagoya
Fever, a leading global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Lead City Coordinator in Nagoya to oversee the operations of their Candlelight concert series. This role involves managing event logistics, coordinating with artists and suppliers, and ensuring the successful execution of events that provide unique musical experiences illuminated by candlelight.
The Lead City Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating event logistics, including transportation of equipment to and from venues. They will liaise with artists and suppliers, negotiate rates for multiple bookings, create schedules, and advance key documents to all suppliers and venue staff. Additionally, the coordinator will book and train staff for events through agency staffing partners, attend weekly project updates, oversee inventory for storage solutions, and research potential venues to expand Fever's presence in Nagoya.
Onsite responsibilities include managing scheduled event timings as the main point of contact, implementing production details and company policies, addressing customer queries and complaints, creating event and incident reports, encouraging high performance within the team, and providing photographs and feedback after each event to the Project Manager. The coordinator will represent both the Fever and Candlelight brands through professional communication and management, acting as the main customer service representative at every event.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of event management experience and/or a relevant degree, a keen interest and passion for live music and delivering events, exceptional customer service skills, experience leading a team of staff onsite, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in high-pressure environments. Knowledge of AV and PA systems is desirable.
