The LaTeX Specialist (Fluent in Russian) - Freelance AI Trainer Project is a remote contract position aimed at enhancing AI capabilities in document preparation and academic publishing. The role involves collaborating with advanced language models to improve their understanding and processing of complex LaTeX documents.

Key responsibilities include engaging with AI models on document preparation scenarios, verifying formatting accuracy, capturing reproducible error traces, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics. The specialist will also challenge models on complex equation formatting, multi-language support, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, package troubleshooting, and collaborative editing workflows.

Ideal candidates possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. Professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing, or scientific communication is highly valued. Fluency in Russian is required, along with clear, metacognitive communication skills.

Compensation ranges from $8 to $65 per hour, determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, the specialist is expected to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off do not apply.
