The LaTeX Specialist (Fluent in German) - Freelance AI Trainer Project is a remote contract position offered by Invisible Technologies, a company specializing in AI training and scaling solutions. This role is integral to enhancing AI models by providing high-quality training data, particularly in the realm of document preparation and typesetting.

In this position, you will engage with advanced language models on various LaTeX-related topics, including complex equation formatting, multi-language document support, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, package troubleshooting, and collaborative editing workflows. Your primary responsibilities will involve conversing with the model on document preparation scenarios and theoretical LaTeX questions, verifying formatting accuracy and logical consistency, capturing reproducible error traces, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field. Professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing, or scientific communication is highly valued. Essential skills include expertise in LaTeX document typesetting, mathematical formatting, bibliographic management, package customization, template development, and cross-referencing techniques. Fluency in German is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Compensation for this role ranges from $8 to $65 per hour, with the exact rate determined based on your experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you will need to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
