Laboratory Technologist

The Laboratory Technologist will perform a variety of laboratory tests in accordance with standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Additionally, the role involves performing phlebotomy procedures as required.

Candidates should possess a recognized Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology, or a Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years of experience as a Medical Technologist in Haematology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry within a medical laboratory setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong laboratory, organizational, and administrative skills, along with computer literacy. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, coupled with a service and customer-oriented approach, is essential. Experience in a hospital laboratory setting is considered an advantage.
