Laboratory Technician (Sample Prep) - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast - Altamonte Springs, FL

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician for its Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast division in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This role involves supporting laboratory operations through tasks such as sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities include extracting and digesting environmental samples using organic solvents or acids, operating laboratory equipment to measure sample volumes and weights, preparing standards, and maintaining scientific logbooks. The technician is also expected to adhere to all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

Candidates should have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in science or a related field. While basic laboratory experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship and have professional proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

The position offers a pay rate of $17 per hour and includes benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, and dental and vision options. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
