Laboratory Technician l (2nd Shift)
Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join our team on the 2nd shift, operating from Wednesday to Saturday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM (with an 11:00 AM start on Saturdays). In this role, the Laboratory Technician I will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing on incoming samples accurately and efficiently, ensuring that sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded. Key duties include registering incoming samples, maintaining accurate records, entering sample data into the Eurofins eLIMS system, and verifying results for timely transmission. The technician will also adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and identify process difficulties, reporting them along with proposed solutions to the supervisor.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Experience with plating, plate reading, and sample preparation is also desirable.
