Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join their team in Tustin, CA. This role focuses on organic sample preparation, contributing to the company's mission of providing comprehensive environmental analysis services across the United States.

The Laboratory Technician I will be responsible for preparing soil and water samples for analysis using gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCMS). Key duties include evaluating and prioritizing daily workloads, retrieving and measuring sample aliquots, documenting preparation details, preparing reagents and standards, maintaining laboratory equipment, adhering to safety policies, and assisting other laboratory areas as needed.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with coursework in chemistry and basic laboratory experience. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction is required, along with professional proficiency in English. The position requires working from Saturday through Wednesday, 1 pm to 10 pm. Ideal candidates will have general knowledge of chemistry, basic mathematical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The full-time position may include overtime and weekend work as needed.
