Laboratory Technician - Graduate / Entry Level

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Soil Weighout Officer) to join our team in Girraween, NSW, Australia. This role involves working within our environmental testing laboratory, contributing to our mission of ensuring the safety and quality of various products and environmental samples. Eurofins is a global leader in analytical testing services, operating over 900 laboratories in more than 62 countries.

The primary responsibilities of this position include sub-sampling and weighing soil samples, transferring subsamples to the appropriate laboratory sections for extraction, and assisting with sample receipt and disposal. Additional duties encompass general housekeeping tasks and adhering to the Eurofins Code of Ethics and relevant policies and procedures.

Candidates should have a general comfort in technical environments and a desire to continually learn and improve. An entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to take the next step is valued, along with the ability to be a hands-on hard worker and a 'doer' with a common-sense approach.

This casual position offers shift times from Monday to Friday, with multiple shifts available: 4 AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 4 AM, 10 PM to 2 AM, or 8 PM to 4 AM.
