Laboratory Support
The Laboratory Support role at Eurofins involves performing routine laboratory procedures, including the preparation of solvents, buffers, and media, as well as mixing chemicals. The position requires timely and accurate reporting of test results in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures, while adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Additionally, the role includes routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
Key responsibilities encompass proper storage and disposal of chemicals, adherence to safety procedures, and active participation in safety programs. The role also involves managing inventory, maintaining laboratory supplies such as glassware and chemicals for biotech and pharmaceutical processes, and tracking and documenting chemical usage and inventory. Maintaining a clean room environment to prevent contamination and ensure the integrity of production is also a critical aspect of the position.
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline. While 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting and an understanding of laboratory equipment are preferred, they are not mandatory. GxP training is considered a plus. A valid driver's license and transportation are necessary for the role. Applicants must conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances, and medical checkups. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship is also required.
The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Candidates residing within a commutable distance of Malvern, PA, are encouraged to apply.
