Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Instrument System Administrator to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role involves coordinating the maintenance and qualification of laboratory instruments, including Capillary Electrophoresis, iCE, CD, and MFI systems. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert, ensuring the optimal performance of both hardware and software components within our laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities include supporting new and existing systems through installation, configuration, validation, procedure development and review, training, troubleshooting, and software/firmware management. The administrator will assist validation personnel in determining approaches to validate new technologies, provide technical and regulatory support, and research instrumentation using information from vendors, manuals, industry resources, and colleagues. Additionally, the role involves writing validation protocols, test scripts, and related documentation in accordance with established validation programs, as well as coordinating installation and execution of validation testing and performing instrument troubleshooting and operational training as required.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related field, an Engineering degree, or a BSc in Computer Sciences with exposure to the life sciences. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and attention to detail, are essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude are also important.
