Laboratory Assistant

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. Key duties include washing and storing glassware, disposing of waste solutions, retrieving and handling laboratory solvents, and assisting with media production. Additional tasks involve managing inventory, receiving and organizing lab supplies, and supporting general laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma. While pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. Essential skills include excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, strong communication, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Applicants should be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, and must have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $18.00, depending on experience and education. The schedule is flexible, with shifts totaling between 25 to 30 hours per week, adjusted as needed to meet laboratory demands.
