Laboratory Analyst, ICP

The individual in this position will be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples using ICP instrumentation to detect and quantify metals and trace elements. Daily activities include sample preparation, instrument calibration, method development, maintenance of laboratory records, data analysis, and reporting. The analyst will also troubleshoot equipment issues, follow established quality assurance procedures, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, along with hands-on laboratory experience and a solid understanding of ICP techniques. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Experience working in an ISO 17025 or similar accredited environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with LIMS software and effective written and verbal communication skills are strong assets.
