Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Sample Preparation) to join our team in Katowice, Poland. As a global leader in analytical testing services, Eurofins provides comprehensive laboratory services to clients across various industries, including food, environment, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. This role is integral to our environmental laboratory operations, focusing on the preparation and analysis of soil and waste samples.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for manually preparing soil and waste samples for laboratory analysis. Key tasks include homogenizing and grinding samples using equipment such as mills and jaw crushers, weighing ground samples for analysis, and conducting physicochemical analyses using classical techniques in accordance with established procedures. Additional duties involve maintaining accurate documentation, overseeing assigned equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness at the workstation.

Candidates should possess a secondary or technical education and have a basic understanding of the English language. Strong organizational skills, commitment to work, and the ability to function effectively within a team are essential. While not mandatory, familiarity with laboratory practices, methods for preparing environmental samples for testing, and knowledge of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard are advantageous.
