Lab Operations Specialist - Sample Management

The Lab Operations Specialist - Sample Management role at Eurofins involves supporting manufacturing and laboratory operations to develop and produce medicines that contribute to healthier and safer lives. This position is integral to the team, ensuring efficient sample management and laboratory support within the company's dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include receiving, processing, and distributing samples to quality control laboratories, ensuring supplies are prepared and organized to support operations, and assisting laboratory analytical personnel as required. The role also offers opportunities to provide on-the-job training and day-to-day guidance to other staff under supervision. Maintaining detailed records and ensuring accurate and legible documentation are essential aspects of the day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate possesses good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn procedures and use a computer for communication, training, and record tracking. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Physical demands include standing or walking for several hours at a time, carrying, lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 25 pounds regularly, and wearing safety and protective gear in a manufacturing environment. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
