Lab Assistant - Tues-Sat 8:00am-4:30pm

Eurofins is seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. As a global leader in life sciences, Eurofins provides a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to clients across various industries, ensuring the safety and quality of products that impact daily life. This full-time position offers a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

In this role, the Lab Assistant will be responsible for receiving and documenting incoming shipments, examining samples for accuracy, and performing data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Additional duties include labeling and delivering samples to appropriate areas, storing specimens for both short-term and long-term periods, and preparing specimens for shipping in compliance with applicable requirements. The Lab Assistant will also assist laboratory personnel with cleaning duties and maintain quality control and assurance records as required.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those having two years of clinical laboratory experience. Comfort with handling raw specimens is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as internal SOPs and company policies is required. The position may involve evening and weekend hours, and an intermediate level of proficiency with PC-based software programs, including database skills and at least one year of data entry experience, is preferred.
