Key Account Leader - Minnesota / Iowa
Axon is seeking a Key Account Leader to join their team, focusing on managing and expanding relationships with law enforcement agencies across Minnesota, Iowa, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This role is integral to Axon's mission of protecting life by providing innovative public safety technologies. The position is remote, requiring significant travel within the designated territory.
The Key Account Leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share by developing and executing strategic account plans. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining senior-level relationships within client agencies, articulating complex solutions, navigating procurement processes, and leading the Axon team to success. The role also involves providing product information, demonstrations, and training to clients.
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of successful customer-facing software sales experience, particularly in SaaS or cloud solutions, and at least three years managing major accounts. Experience with complex sales processes, data management using CRM systems like Salesforce, and a strong understanding of cloud technologies are essential. The role requires the ability to travel extensively, up to 70% of the time, and to effectively communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
