Eurofins Environment Testing Finland Oy is seeking a Chemist, Laboratory Engineer, or Laboratory Analyst to join our organic analytics department in Lahti. This full-time, permanent position is available immediately or by May 18, 2026. Our laboratory specializes in environmental testing services, contributing to a safer and more sustainable environment.

In this role, you will analyze hazardous organic compounds using instruments such as HS-GC/MS and ATD-GC/MS. Responsibilities include recording results in the eLIMS system, performing daily quality control per our quality management system, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, implementing new instruments, and validating methods. Additional duties involve supervising laboratory technicians, preparing reference solutions, conducting solution calculations, maintaining documentation, and other diverse laboratory tasks.

Candidates must possess relevant education, such as a degree in chemistry, laboratory engineering, or laboratory analysis, and demonstrate proficiency in Finnish. Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, are essential. Success in this role requires a proactive, meticulous, and organized approach, along with excellent teamwork abilities, adaptability to varying tasks, and the capacity to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in similar roles and familiarity with quality and LIMS systems are advantageous.
