Junior Trainee Employment Law

Clifford Chance is seeking a Junior Trainee in Employment Law to join our esteemed Employment Team. As a global law firm with a strong presence in Italy since the early 1990s, we offer a full-service capability to our clients, combining local expertise with international reach. Our team of approximately 100 lawyers is permanently based in Italy, providing comprehensive legal services across various sectors.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Employment lawyers and clients, handling a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities will include advisory work on matters such as works councils, unions, diversity and inclusion, boardroom and senior executive issues, and employment contracts. You will also be involved in transactional work, addressing employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, outsourcings, relocations, and restructurings. Additionally, you will engage in areas like remuneration, corporate governance, and employee incentives.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate in Italian Law with a strong passion for labor and employment law. You should have directed your studies towards labor topics, demonstrated by a thesis in labor law, participation in related courses or seminars, or short internship experiences in teams focused on labor law. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong academic background, excellent written and spoken English skills, and the ability to manage different work streams effectively.
