Junior GL Accountant
Eurofins is seeking a Junior GL Accountant to join our finance team in Braga, Portugal. As a global leader in life sciences, Eurofins provides a wide range of analytical testing services to clients across various industries, ensuring the safety and authenticity of products worldwide. In this position, you will support Record to Report processes, including managing fixed assets, journal entries, and external reporting. Your responsibilities will also encompass performing subledger and balance sheet account reconciliations, preparing reports and tax-related documentation, and handling ad-hoc tasks and special projects. Collaboration with international teams and participation in process improvement initiatives are key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Finance, or a related field, with some experience in accounting, including internships. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, proficiency in Excel, and excellent organizational skills with attention to detail are essential. A proactive mindset and a positive, can-do attitude will contribute to success in this role.
