Japanese Voice Actor - Freelance AI Trainer Project

We are seeking an experienced Japanese voice actor to contribute to our AI training initiatives. As a Japanese Voice Acting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the naturalness and expressiveness of AI-generated speech, working within a dynamic team dedicated to advancing language models and speech technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will include recording scripted Japanese material, evaluating AI-generated speech outputs for linguistic accuracy and naturalness, annotating errors, and collaborating with the team to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and voice design guidelines. This role requires a keen ear for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality voice data.

Candidates must possess fluency in Japanese and demonstrated experience in professional voice acting, dubbing, narration, or related performance work. Additional experience in training, coaching, or linguistic annotation is advantageous. Clear communication skills, attention to detail, and a high-quality recording setup—including a reliable microphone and a quiet environment—are essential.

Compensation for this contract position ranges from $6 to $65 per hour, determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you will be responsible for providing a secure computer, high-quality microphone and recording setup, and a stable internet connection.
