IT Solutions Support Engineer - Mid-senior
Eurofins is seeking a mid-senior level IT Solutions Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will provide first and second-level technical support for Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) applications. Your responsibilities will include investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). You will log, track, and manage tickets using IT Service Management tools, perform initial root cause analyses, and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams. Collaborating with IT Operations, Development, and other stakeholders, you will ensure timely resolution of technical challenges.
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in IT support, application support, or helpdesk roles. A basic understanding of Windows Server environments and networking fundamentals is required, along with experience in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries (MS SQL Server/T-SQL). Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy, knowledge of ITIL practices, and exposure to IIS-hosted applications are also essential. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities in an international environment, and the capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities are crucial for success in this role.
Eurofins offers a hybrid work environment with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00. Additionally, availability for one weekend per month is required as part of a rotation schedule.
