IT Infrastructure System Engineer - Workspace

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an IT Infrastructure System Engineer specializing in workspace management to join our international life sciences company. This role is integral to our IT Infrastructure Support Team, focusing on developing and maintaining operating system images and associated architectures across our global network. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the technological backbone of a company that performs over 400 million tests annually in more than 800 laboratories worldwide.

The primary responsibilities include creating, managing, and maintaining both client and server operating system images, certifying new hardware, and updating drivers regularly. The role involves deploying images via MDT and SCCM, troubleshooting related issues, and configuring WDS and PXE environments. Additionally, the engineer will plan, validate, and execute monthly security updates globally, monitor OS deployments, and prepare remediation actions as needed.

Candidates should possess a minimum of six years of experience in Information Technology, with at least three years specializing in areas such as Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7 and Windows 11), MDT 2013, WDS, OSD, WSUS, Intune, and SCCM Current Branch. Strong skills in desktop application support and Microsoft Office are essential. Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting is highly desirable to optimize existing processes or develop new ones.
