IT Field Support Specialist (L2)
Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Europe (BPEU) is seeking an experienced IT Field Support Specialist (L2) to join their team in Bratislava. This role involves providing primary onsite IT support for the Bratislava laboratory and weekly travel to Brno and Budapest to offer hands-on assistance. The position offers an autonomous environment within a scientifically regulated setting, ideal for proactive and service-oriented professionals.
Key responsibilities include providing on-site and remote IT support for users, systems, and laboratory instrument computers. The specialist will log, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, and image, configure, and maintain user and instrument PCs according to company standards. Additionally, the role involves supporting GxP-regulated laboratory environments, coordinating with instrument vendors and global IT teams, maintaining accurate IT asset documentation, executing local IT projects, and acting as the key onsite IT representative for Bratislava.
Candidates should have a relevant educational background in Information Technology and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar technical support or field service role, preferably within life sciences environments. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems, solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, experience with modern workplace management tools like Microsoft Intune, and a good understanding of basic networking fundamentals are essential. The ability to work autonomously, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are also required.
