IT DevOps Engineer (Hybrid position)
Eurofins is seeking an IT DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, acting as a liaison between cloud architects and regional IT teams to modernize applications for cloud-based deployment and modern authentication. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global leader in life sciences, providing analytical testing services across various industries to ensure product safety and authenticity.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on Azure and AKS, managing and optimizing multiple Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, Rancher), and implementing and maintaining Terraform-based release solutions. The role also involves collaborating with various IT teams to implement new standards and assisting in major incident management.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in complex IT environments, with extensive knowledge of IT services and their interrelationships. Necessary skills include proficiency in AWS operations and infrastructure, Linux/Windows OS administration and scripting (preferably DSC), deep knowledge of Kubernetes and similar products, and experience with monitoring systems like DataDog, Icinga, or Nagios. Familiarity with security tools, identity and access management using Azure AD, and automation tools such as Terraform, DSC, Ansible, Helm, and Azure DevOps is also required.
